The Trango Towers really are a group of rock towers located in Gilgit-Baltistan, in northern Pakistan. The Towers offer a few of the largest coves and many challenging mountain climbing on the planet, and each year numerous expeditions all corners from the globe visit Karakoram to climb the tough granite.[1] They’re located north of Baltoro Glacier, and are members of the Baltoro Muztagh, a sub-selection of the Karakoram range. The greatest reason for the audience may be the summit of effective Trango Tower at 6,286 m (20,623 foot), the east face which features the earth’s finest nearly vertical drop.

Scott M: This is not accurate at all… I think clarification needs to be made between the most difficult & most deadly mountains. Also, most deadly has to be clarified between most amounts of deaths and the percentage of deaths/summits/attempts. A lot of "easier climbs" like Mont Blanc & The Matterhorn have hundreds of fatalities because so many people attempt them ill equipped, that does not mean they are the most difficult. Very few people in comparison die climbing Annapurna for instance because so few people are that crazy to even try, but the percentage of people who die is way higher, I think something like 25%. \n\nAn Armchair Mountaineer =)
David F: Look at the list of climbers who died on Annapurna. It doesn't just kill climbers, it kills the best in the word. Ian Clough, Iñaki Ochoa de Olza, Young-Seok Park, the hero of the Everest 1996 disaster Anatoli Boukreev. ONLY the best climb Annapurna, and they don't always make it to the top.
Derek Yo: Scott M I don't think many people attempt those I'll equipped. Also, being scared of the mountain plays a little role, I guess. The reason these aren't climbed so much are because of the difficulty and location. Mount Blanc and the Matterhorn etc are all just plain much easier to get to. Plus, Annapurna has a slightly higher kill percentage but K2 is known to be the most difficult to summit.
